Palworld server hosting is now available on Metrly.
You can deploy a fresh dedicated server, configure crossplay, manage the settings that actually matter, monitor the world while it is running, and even bring an existing dedicated or co-op world with you.
Palworld already gives you plenty to keep track of. Server configuration does not need to become another survival mechanic.
Deploy a Palworld Dedicated Server
Palworld is now available directly from the Metrly marketplace.
Create a server, choose your location, configure the basics, and Metrly handles the dedicated server installation and placement.
Once installation finishes, the console gives you the server address and game-specific instructions for getting connected.
Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Mac
Palworld servers can be configured for crossplay between supported platforms including:
- Steam
- Xbox
- PlayStation 5
- Mac
Steam players can connect directly using the server address.
For console and Mac players, the Palworld management page also shows the community-server information needed to find the server through Palworld's browser when community listing is enabled.
No scavenger hunt through startup variables required.
A Palworld Command Center
Palworld servers get their own management experience inside the Metrly Console.
The overview gives you a quick look at what is happening without opening the console and digging through logs.
You can see:
- Server status
- Current and maximum players
- Server FPS
- Current world day
- Direct connection address
- Community browser status
- Players currently online
- Recent server operations
The same area provides direct access to Palworld settings, world migration, startup options, and activity history.
Palworld Settings Without Editing the INI by Hand
Most of the settings people regularly change are now managed directly through the console.
That includes things like:
- Server name and description
- Join and administrator passwords
- Maximum players
- Crossplay platforms
- PvP and friendly fire
- Raids
- Day and night speed
- Experience rates
- Pal capture rates
- Pal spawn rates
- Egg hatching time
- Death penalties
- Guild and base limits
- Fast travel
- Voice chat
- Palworld's native save backups
Settings are organized into understandable categories rather than exposing one enormous configuration file.
Make your changes, review them, and apply them from the console. Metrly tracks which configuration is currently running and whether saved changes still need to be applied.
Editing PalWorldSettings.ini by hand is still possible. So is doing your taxes with a pencil.
Safer Saves, Restarts, and Shutdowns
Palworld world data deserves a little more care than simply killing the server process.
The Palworld workspace includes dedicated actions to:
- Save the world
- Start the server
- Stop the server
- Restart the server
- Apply configuration changes
Stop and restart operations save the world before shutting the process down.
Configuration changes also preserve the server's previous power state, so applying a setting does not mean manually remembering whether the server was running beforehand.
Bring Your Existing Palworld World
Existing Palworld worlds can be imported directly through the Metrly Console.
The World Migration tool supports both dedicated-server worlds and single-player/co-op worlds.
Before replacing anything, Metrly:
1. Uploads and inspects the world archive
2. Validates the world structure
3. Shows what was detected
4. Requires confirmation
5. Creates a safety backup
6. Installs the new world
7. Verifies the result
The live world is not simply overwritten and left to fate.
Co-op World Conversion
Moving a Palworld co-op world to a dedicated server has an extra problem: the original host uses a different player identity than they will receive on the dedicated server.
Copying the world alone can leave the map, bases, guilds, and Pals intact while the original host appears as a brand-new character.
Metrly now includes a guided conversion workflow for this.
After importing the world, the original host joins the dedicated server once to create their new identity. Metrly can then detect the new character, create a locked safety backup, convert the host identity, and verify the result before completing the operation.
The conversion can also work against an already active world, so it is not limited to worlds imported through Metrly.
This is one of those problems that sounds extremely specific until it happens to your 200-hour save.
Built-In Safety and Rollback
Palworld maintenance operations are tracked as actual operations rather than one-click actions that disappear into the void.
The Activity view records configuration changes, world imports, host conversions, saves, restarts, and other maintenance work.
You can see:
- Current status
- Progress
- When the operation started and completed
- Previous server state
- Failure information
- Rollback status
World migration and conversion workflows use safety backups and validation before changing the live world. If the new world does not become healthy after the operation, Metrly can roll the change back instead of leaving the server halfway converted.
Available Now
Palworld dedicated servers are available through the Metrly marketplace now.
Create your server, invite your friends, and spend your time arguing over who gets the good Pals instead of which line of the configuration file broke the server.
New Metrly accounts begin with a $10 starting credit. Billing does not begin until that credit has been used.
